Dance with My Old Hoop

Like some old lover
That came back for a visit
We lock instantly into a familiar dance

My body knows your every curve
Every wobble

My body has changed
I'm stronger

Sleeker

I'm more flexible.

You fit differently...

It's not just about your size anymore
Or how slowly you move
Or even about your shining silver light that fills the room

It's those curves I gave you.

I can feel them
With my eyes closed

Laughing.
